ASP.NET rnd() Function is a Slippery Devil!

Sometimes software development can be hard; API docs can be incomplete, maybe the source isn’t very straight forward or you just aren’t seeing the result you expect. What can make that even worse is on days when you are tired and overlook a detail multiple times that would point you in the right direction… then again, what can make programming even harder is when you just aren’t smart:

This poor guy just can’t seem to get ASP.NET’s random function, rnd(), to return the same value on each call. There are a multitude of solutions to the problem assuming he really does need the same value each time, which makes it even more painful… anyway, eat a lot of spinach so this doesn’t happen to you.
