Joe Window Manager for Speedy Desktops

Wed, Sep 3, 2008 (Linux)

Lightweight desktop users unite. The Joe Window Manager (JWM) aims to please with its minimalist approach to desktop computing. Ideal for older systems, embedded devices, memory stick distro users, or users needing a snappy environment, the JWM is here to serve.

The window manager was created using only Xlib and needs nothing more than an X11 install to run. The website states that the JWM should run on any Unix system as long as you have the standard compiler tools and the aforementioned X11 installed.

Check it out, you are only a simple compile away after grabbing the project here.
